Christine Doran

I grew up in the suburbs of Dublin with a view of the Irish Sea from my bedroom window, not really aware of how lucky I was. As an only child with a paltry five TV channels and no computer games, I lost myself in books often. The local second-hand bookstore was a favorite haunt and book tokens were my best birthday presents.

Now I live in suburban Maryland, outside Washington DC, which is also quite a lucky place to get to spend my days.
