I really wanted to get Your Dream Home published before the end of 2022 - before I'd have to change the copyright date to 2023 instead. And here it is, squeaking in on December 28th.
Of course, the most foolproof way to find those last few typos is to hit the "Publish Now" button, so that's what I did, and as soon as I scrolled through the preview there they were. (We will not mention anything about failing to run spellcheck.) So then I had to update the finalFINALREALLY5 file and re-upload it and wait for it to go through whatever magical process KDP does to make it a real book, but by the time you read this the correct and typo free (don't quote me) version will be available to you from your local Amazon site, wherever you are in the world.
It should also pop up on the Book Depository soon, which has free shipping worldwide so it's always a good option if you don't have Amazon Prime.
I think you should definitely buy the paperback, not the Kindle version. Kindles are all very well and good, but the paperback is nicer. The cover is prettier and the text inside has different fonts for people's letters and diary entries and what have you, which is something that's much harder to make happen with an ebook because ebook readers get to choose their own preferred font for the whole book, thus ruining my carefully planned effect.
Stay tuned for more updates and hopefully some great reviews from readers!
